We rebuilding Haryana by uniting society beyond caste divides, CM

The Chief Minister while highlighting the remarkable transformation witnessed in Haryana over the past nine years said that his government has rebuilt Haryana by uniting society beyond caste divides.

“Nine years ago, during the tenure of previous governments, Haryana grappled with a stifling atmosphere marked by disappointment and favouritism, where emphasis on caste and class distinctions reigned, our government prioritized public welfare. However, people in the Opposition still talk about caste-based politics. All parties are making announcements to appoint Deputy Chief Ministers from different castes. We stand against caste-based politics,” said Sh. Manohar Lal.

He said that despite the Prime Minister's call for ending caste-oriented politics these parties persist in their divisive strategies, tarnishing the integrity of the democracy.

“The government's initiatives speak volumes about their dedication to the welfare of the citizens. Implementing numerous schemes tailored to address the challenges faced by the underprivileged, we have effectively used information technology to ensure that the benefits of these programs reach grassroots levels,” said Sh. Manohar Lal.

Congress only gave slogans of eradicating poverty, but in reality, the Congress played a deceitful game with the poor

The Chief Minister said that the Congress has always chanted the slogan of eradicating poverty. Sometimes they ran programs based on four principles, sometimes on twenty principles. In reality, they kept playing a deceitful game with the poor. But now, the public won't be swayed by their deceit, said Sh. Manohar Lal.

He said that before the year 2014, the government used to both rob and deceive the public. However, the present state government considered nearly 2.83 crore people of Haryana as a part of our family and worked for their well-being.

“We worked to implement all the schemes of the central and state governments for their welfare,” said Sh. Manohar Lal.

Worked to eliminate Caste-Based Politics, Corruption and Crime

Highlighting his government’s 3 C strategy, Sh. Manohar Lal said that his government has worked to eliminate the 3Cs - Caste-Based Politics, Corruption, and Crime.

“We have recently celebrated the 57th Haryana Day, and on this occasion, I can proudly say that after nine years of continuous hard work, our government will retire all the existing evils that have prevailed in the state before our government took charge. We will not allow any evil to flourish again,” said Sh. Manohar Lal.

He said that the present state government has worked on the 7S - Education, Health, Security, Self-Reliance, Self-Respect, Good Governance and Service and will continue to do so. The government's treasury is open for the welfare of the poor, and we will not let any shortage of funds occur, said the Chief Minister.

He said that the present state government has decided to give an additional 5 percent quota to the youth from poor families so that they can also enter government jobs.

“I am happy that 60-65 percent of the youth coming into jobs are from such families. During the tenure of previous governments, there used to be a lot of corruption. But that era has passed. Now, there is no need to pay any middlemen for getting a job. Nearly 1 crore people in the state have benefited from the central and state governments schemes,” said Sh. Manohar Lal.

Any citizen of the state can directly reach me with their concerns, and I will personally take note of it

The Chief Minister, while urging people, said that despite being born into an ordinary family, the legendary warrior Karna performed such deeds of service and welfare in his life that even in today's era, he is known as the greatest philanthropist. Therefore, drawing inspiration from Karna, all of us should work for social service.

He said that those attending this grand gathering will be provided a kit containing a calendar, a register, and a postcard with the address of the Chief Minister's residence written on it. If anyone has anything on their mind, they should write it down and deliver it to the Chief Minister's residence. I will personally read their message and take note of it, said Sh. Manohar Lal.
