Chandigarh, November 8 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal while addressing a Jan Samvad at Jagadhri today announced the availability of MRI facilities at the civil hospitals in Jagadhri and Yamunanagar. This will eliminate the need for people to travel long distances for medical services, he said.

In response to demands for the allocation of blocks and school to JBT teachers in the district, the Chief Minister assured that efforts would be made to ensure that children's education is not disrupted, keeping their well-being in mind.

On this occasion, Guest teachers expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for the assurance of fulfilling this demand.

The Chief Minister said the issue of traffic jams caused due to trolleys carrying wood parked on the roads in the Jagadhri city would be resolved on a priority basis. He directed the police and municipal officers to coordinate to address this problem. He said that officers should ensure that no trolleys would be allowed on the roads in the next two days.

During the Samavd, he further  directed the installation of street lights in the markets within the Jagadhri urban area to be completed within the next three months. 41,000 locations have been marked for this purpose. The work of installing street lights in all markets is set to be completed by February 2024, said Sh. Manohar Lal.

He stated that people are easily benefiting from government schemes through Parivar Pehchan Patra. The work of creating a pension for individuals from the age of 60 is being done from the comfort of their homes, said the Chief Minister.

During the Samvad, 10 elderly received on-the-spot pension certificates.

The Chief Minister further asserted that social security pensions are being provided to 13,700 people in Jagadhri. Besides this,  17,383 people have been provided with medical facilities through Ayushman cards, with an expenditure of Rs. 44.78 crore.

On this occasion, School Education Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal welcomed the Chief Minister and stated that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, comprehensive development work is taking place in Haryana.

Mayor, Sh. Madan Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner, Captain Manoj,  Superintendent of Police, Sh. Ganga Ram Punia and other officers also remained present on this occasion.
