Chandigarh, Nov 29 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh Manohar Lal said that the people of the state are like family to him. The government is committed to serving every section of society with a strong sense of dedication and determination.
Chief Minister Sh Manohar Lal was presiding over the monthly meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievances Committee in Faridabad on Wednesday. A total of 14 complaints were presented in this meeting, most of which were settled on the spot.
Shri Manohar Lal advocated for swift resolution of public complaints, suggesting alternative options instead of resorting to lengthy court processes. He stressed that the government's priority is to ensure the well-being of every citizen, and immediate relief should be provided without causing any inconvenience.
Sh Manohar Lal directed swift action to address the water shortage issue for villages such as Mohana and Narhawali. Additionally, officials from the Electricity and Irrigation Departments were given instructions to examine Rajvaha before December 31st, remove the silt and check the feasibility of the motors at the pump house.
Highlighting the government's dedication to irrigation and drinking water supply, Shri Manohar Lal affirmed that efforts were underway to enhance canal capacity, ensuring adequate water supply to every farm. He reiterated the government's commitment to purchasing crops at MSP, contributing to the prosperity of the state's farmers.
The Chief Minister highlighted the government's focus on fostering equitable development initiatives. The government's thinking is that the amount spent on development works should be utilized well and the common people should get maximum facilities. He emphasized that builders should provide essential amenities like electricity and water to residents in their societies. If any builder shows reluctance in fulfilling these basic requirements, thorough investigation and appropriate action in accordance with the rules should follow.
He emphasized the need for all officers and employees to carry out their duties with utmost honesty, embracing a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption. The state operates under a government free from fear and corruption, actively translating development initiatives into reality while respecting public sentiments. The Chief Minister directed officials to take swift action against illegal constructions or encroachments, underscoring that such activities will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
The Chief Minister expressed the state government's unwavering commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of cows and destitute cattle. Notably, the government and the Gau Sewa Aayog are actively working towards ensuring self-reliance in cow shelters, with a substantial tenfold increase in the Gau Sewa budget to Rs 400 crore. He said that the government's thinking is that the Panchayats, while passing a proposal to build a cowshed for the service of the destitute cows, should contact the Cow Service Commission and the Animal Husbandry Department, so that the common people can be connected to the cow service. Institutions related to cow service always run with the cooperation of citizens, for which every citizen should come forward and extend a helping hand.
On this occasion, Union Minister of State Shri Krishna Pal, Badkhal MLA Smt. Seema Trikha, Faridabad MLA Shri Narendra Gupta, MLA Shri Rajesh Nagar, Prithla MLA Shri Nayanpal Rawat, Deputy Commissioner Shri Vikram Singh, Police Commissioner Shri Rakesh Arya and others were also present.
