Chandigarh, December 14 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that soon Haryana will have its ‘State Anthem. A proposal in this regard will be presented in the winter session of the Legislative Assembly starting from December 15, 2023.

Addressing a press conference here today, the Chief Minister said that through various competitions, the government has selected 3 songs, and all three songs will be tabled in the House. The song with the highest votes will be declared the state anthem for one year.

“After our government came to power, we ensured that at least 3 sessions of the Vidhan Sabha, i.e. Budget Session, Monsoon Session and Winter Session are called so that legislators get more opportunities to participate. In the previous government, only 2 sessions were called,” said Sh. Manohar Lal.

He said that a meeting will be held on December 28, 2023, in Chandigarh under the chairmanship of Union Minister of Jal Shakti Sh. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat to discuss the ongoing SYL issue between Haryana and Punjab, with both Chief Ministers of the states in attendance.

Haryana bags second prize in the Energy Efficiency Index nationwide

The Chief Minister shared that in the National Energy Conservation Awards 2023, Haryana received the second prize in the Energy Efficiency Index nationwide. Today, President, Smt. Droupadi Murmu awarded this prize to the Energy Minister of Haryana. This is a matter of pride for the people of the state, he added.

986 candidates receive job offer letters through HKRNL

During the press conference, the Chief Minister sent job offer letters to 986 candidates hired through Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam. He said that employees on a contract basis have already been deployed under the Nigam, and new people are also being employed. He said that certain parameters have been set for giving jobs under the Nigam, and eligible candidates are selected transparently.
