Chandigarh, June 21 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has announced guaranteed government jobs to Agniveers.
He said that youths who would come after joining the army under the Agneepath scheme would be given Group C or Haryana Police jobs.
The Chief Minister was addressing a state-level function organized in Bhiwani on the 8th International Day of Yoga today. He also dedicated 337 Wellness Centres to the citizens of the state. MLA, Bhiwani, Sh. Ghanshyam Saraf and MLA, Bawani Khera, Sh. Bishamber Singh also remained present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister said that it is a matter of pride to get a job in the Army. Therefore, 75 per cent of the youth who will retire under the Agneepath scheme are given guaranteed jobs in Haryana. This is a unique gift for Agniveers. This will increase the interest of the youth in the army.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has brought about a radical change in the Army. Now the army will be further equipped on technical grounds. This will give opportunities to the youth of 10th to 12th standards. Thus Agneepath is a better scheme not only for the youth but also for the army.
The Chief Minister said that Haryana is the first state in the country to ensure such jobs for the youth of the state. He said that Haryana Government is always working for the betterment of the people by taking decisions in public interest.
