Chandigarh, 27 March- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal on Sunday announced several development projects worth crores of rupees for the Nalwa assembly constituency. In the 17th Annual Mahotsav and Gau-Bhagwat Katha function organised at Sh. Balaji Gaushala in village Mangali, various demands were put forth by Deputy Speaker, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa was approved. The Chief Minister also announced an amount of Rs. 4 crore for development works in five panchayats of Mangali. Apart from this, Rs. 21 lakh was given to Gaushala Management by the Chief Minister and Rs. 11 lakh each from Cabinet Minister, Dr. Kamal Gupta, Sh. JP Dalal, Deputy Speaker, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa and Rajya Sabha MP, Dr. DP Vats for various works.

These demands were approved for Nalwa assembly constituency

While accepting the demands put forward by the Deputy Speaker, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa in the function, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal announced the remodeling of Basra Minor and Syhadwa Minor. Apart from this, remodeling of Garanpura Minor at a cost of Rs. 15 crore, various works of OP Jindal Minor at a cost of Rs. 1.5 crore will be done. An amount of Rs. 40 crore was spent on OP Jindal Minor earlier also, after the new works, water will be available to the farmers from this minor till the tail end. Similarly, the demand for connecting Mangali Water Works to Siwani Feeder instead of Mirkan Minor has also been accepted. The Chief Minister announced the starting of a Seasonal Purchase Centre at Mangali, reconstruction of Kaimri to Sayhadwa road at a cost of Rs. 22.50 crore, widening and strengthening of Mangli to Rawatkheda road at a cost of Rs. 3.5 crore. He also approved the demand for reconstruction of Gangwa to Camri road at a cost of Rs. 3.5 crore, Syhadwa to Garanpur road at a cost of Rs. 2.5 crore and repair of Syhadwa-Garanpura road to Dubeta road at a cost of Rs. 2 crore.

Laid the foundation stone of Government College Mangali

Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal also laid the foundation stone of Government College Mangali. He said that now with the formation of this college, not only the five panchayats of Mangali but also the students of the entire Nalwa Vidhan Sabha area will no longer have to travel far for education. The Chief Minister also gave necessary directions to the officers for speedy construction of the college. On this occasion, a song based on the development story of Haryana was also released by Information, Public Relations and Languages Department personnel and folk artist Sh. Kuldeep Jangra.

Tributes were also paid to the martyrs at the Martyrs Memorial in Mangali

Apart from the programmes organized in Mangali, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal reached the memorial built in the memory of the martyrs of Mangali who sacrificed their lives for the revolution of 1857 and its subsequent freedom struggle. Saluting the immortal martyrs, he announced Rs. 42 lakh for the beautification and improvement of the memorial.

State Government is committed for cow protection and promotion

Addressing the 17th annual festival of Shri Balaji Gaushal and Gau-Bhagwat Katha function, the Chief Minister said that Rs. 13 crore was given by the State Government in the year 2021 to encourage Gaushalas. This year also Rs. 13 crore will be given by the government for various works of Gaushalas. Solar plants are being set up for proper provision of electricity in Gaushalas. He informed that the budget for the management of sheds and fodder to be built in Gaushalas by the State Government has been increased to Rs. 50 crore. He said that fairs are being organized under the Chief Minister Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana to strengthen the economic condition of the poor families of the State. About 80,000 applications have been submitted by the identified persons in the fairs, out of which 40,000 are related to farm cow rearing and setting up of dairy for fertile animals. The benefit of grant is also being given on the dairies set up by the State Government to promote the Sahiwal breed. The state government is promoting organic farming. He urged the farmers to use cow dung instead of chemical fertilizers.
