Chandigarh, August 12- Villagers of Kurad (Sonipat) village of Tokyo Olympic medalist hockey player Sumit Kumar today met Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal and invited him to visit Kurad village, which the Chief Minister gladly accepted and told the villagers that he would visit soon.

On this occasion, villagers also offered the famous Ghevar of Sonepat to the Chief Minister to celebrate Sumit Kumar's achievement. The Chief Minister congratulated all the villagers on Sumit's achievement and said that Sumit proved himself through hard work. He listened to the grievances of the villagers and directed the concerned officers to resolve the grievances on the spot.
