Chandigarh, August 28 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the Haryana Government has taken the state on a progressive path  by promoting its ‘Antyodaya’ spirit during its tenure of 2500 days. He said that the State Government has launched many schemes for the welfare of every section of the society. He said that every person in the state  should be fully motivated to avail benefits from these schemes so that a prosperous atmosphere prevail  in the state.

The Chief Minister was addressing a programme in Karnal today. He said that the state government is making adequate arrangements for the welfare of the people  in the state. He said that earlier some ineligible person used to get the benefit of welfare schemes, but now the state government is making consistent efforts to provide benefits of the scheme to the eligible beneficiaries across the State. He said that Haryana Government has proven successful and performed well what the other Governments had never even imagined for the welfare of the people of the state.

He said that about 70 lakh families were provided free food grains till November, 2020 under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana. The sentiment of the people is positive towards the government. The opposition parties are misleading the people and presenting the schemes of the government in the wrong way without any true facts whereas the present State Government has consistently been working to uplift the life of the people. Now the  efforts of the state government have started showing  results. Those with family  income up to Rs 1.80 lakh annually would get the benefits of the schemes run by the State Government on priority basis.

The Chief Minister said that in view of  continuously depleting of ground level water, the State Government has launched schemes for water conservation, which will prove beneficial for the state.
