Chandigarh, August 31 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the Pradhan Mantri Gati Shakti National Master Plan is such a digital platform, through which infrastructure development works in the country and the state will further accelerate. He directed Haryana, Industries and Commerce Department to immediately upload the data layer related to all the departments from Geographical Information System (GIS) for Gati Shakti Mission. The Chief Minister was speaking at a meeting on Gati Shakti Mission organized by the Industries and Commerce Department at the Haryana Secretariat in Chandigarh on Wednesday. Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala was also present during the meeting.
In the meeting, Haryana, Industries and Commerce Department shared information about the Prime Minister's Gati Shakti National Master Plan through a presentation. Additional Chief Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department, Sh. Anand Mohan Sharan informed that under Gati Shakti Mission, 28 departments of the state had to upload a GIS based data layer on PM Gati Shakti Portal. The department has uploaded the data of 23 departments so far. In which mainly Revenue Department, Forest Department, Power Department, Mining, Tourism and HSIIDC etc. are the key departments. Sh. Sharan said that the data of 5 departments is yet to be uploaded; work is in progress. Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal also directed to upload the data of these remaining departments on the portal at the earliest. Sh. Anand Mohan Sharan also informed about the benefits of Gati Shakti National Master Plan.
By updating different information, it will be easier to create projects in the future
The Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, has started the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan with a far-reaching vision. Today, if the data related to different departments will be uploaded on the Gati Shakti portal, then it will be easy to create any project base in future. Any important place can also be easily assessed like the railway line, airport, declared forest area, water pipeline etc. The Chief Minister said that the PM Gati Shakti Master Plan will give impetus to the future projects. This will further ease the planning of infrastructure related development plans. Each department should immediately update the data related to this master plan on the portal.
