Chandigarh, December 23: Haryana Cabinet which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal here today has accorded approval for installation of New Toll Point on Jwara-Godana Road (Haily Mandi Palawas Road) at Km. 9.500 in Rewari District.
The total length of above said road from Haily Mandi (MDR-132) to Rewari-Rohtak-Panipat (NH-71) is 12.650 km. Out of this length of 12.650 Km, 9.00 km falls in district Gurugram and rest of 3.650 km falls in district Rewari. A link road from village Gauraora (adjoining NH-71) is connecting the above said road at km 9.900 in Rewari district. The Cabinet gave approval for the installation of this new toll point to avoid pilferage of traffic through alternate routes. The installation of Toll point on this Road shall be in the interest of State Government as it will fetch good Revenue for the State Exchequer.
The Cabinet has also approved the validity of time period for this new Toll upto March 31, 2022 since the validity of time period for all ongoing Toll Points is upto March 31, 2022.
