Chandigarh, December 23- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that today new technology is evolving in all fields. In such a changing environment, a course on cleaning sewerage based technology is the need of the hour which will be commenced soon in Shri Vishwakarma Skill University. The Chief Minister was addressing at the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed hall of Bhagwan Valmiki Bhawan in Karnal on Thursday.
The Chief Minister said that Lord Valmiki was the torchbearer of human society, who composed the great Granth of Shri Ramayana which always had and will continue to inspire the society for the coming centuries. During this programme, the Chief Minister called upon those who are financially stable to come forward to help the deprived classes of the society, so that such people can also grow. He also announced a grant of Rs. 21 lakh from his funds for building a hostel at Valmiki Bhawan. Along with this, other people were also asked to give their cooperation in this pious work. The Chief Minister also ordered the building of an e-library here.
Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that we all are engaged somewhere or the other in serving the society, but as soon as we enter politics, we are called leaders. The concept of the word leader differs in the society. When the discussions about Sh. Narendra Modi becoming the Prime Minister started, he was asked what was the first thing he would do, he replied that I would change the perception of the people of my fraternity. By doing this Prime Minister Sh Modi showed how social service can be done by being a leader. We have tried to follow the same principles.
Government did the work of strengthening the system
Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that we have strenuously contributed in bringing a positive change in the system which is public friendly and transparent. The government is determined to ensure that everyone get their due. Today, through the help of technology, more than 600 services are available at nearest computer centres which have reduced the delivery hours of the welfare services.
Government is working with the spirit of Antyodaya
Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the government is working with the spirit of Antyodaya. The State Government has given the slogan of ‘Haryana Ek-Haryanvi Ek’. The goal of the government is to ensure that the benefits of the welfare schemes should reach the last person standing in the queue. Due to this, the Parivar Pehchan Patra was created. Antyodaya Melas are being organised to increase the income of low income families. So far, 250 fairs have been organised at 180 places across the state. Due to this, opportunities are being provided to the youth to move towards employment.
