Chandigarh, December 31 – Haryana Chief Minister while wishing the people of the state on the eve of New Year, said in 2023, the state government aims to provide abroad employment opportunities to about one lakh youth of the state by imparting skill training to them. 

Addressing the people through a virtual medium during Jan Samvad Programme on the eve of new year, Sh. Manohar Lal said that under the State Government's ambitious Nirogi Haryana scheme, health check-ups of around 1.25 crore people residing in Haryana will be done in the year 2023.

Furthermore, in the future health check-ups of every citizen will be done every two years and its record will also be kept for further investigation and early diagnosis of every medical issue, added Sh. Manohar Lal.

The Chief Minister assured the people that all those eligible beneficiaries whose names have been wrongly deleted from the ration cards lists will be added after necessary rectifications in January 2023.  All such beneficiaries will get their due ration. 

He said that the compensation amount would be recovered from the officers and officials because of whom the names of these beneficiaries have been deleted.

While giving the message of social harmony to the people of the State, the Chief Minister said that he had to face many challenges in the last 9 years, but he did not back down from working for the welfare of the people of the state. 

Describing Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi as a true 'Karmayogi', Sh. Manohar Lal said that just two hours after performing the last rites of his mother, the Prime Minister returned to the service of the people of the country.

The Chief Minister said that he has curbed corruption to a great extent through several public awareness programmes, and this campaign will continue in the future also.

Giving detailed information about several schemes being run by the present state government, including education, health, railways, and roads, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the state government has simplified the scheme implementation through Parivar Pehchan Patra so that eligible people do not have to make several rounds of government offices.

Referring to his Antyodaya Abhiyan, Sh. Manohar Lal shared that to make the needy and poor self-reliant, they are being motivated for choosing self-employment opportunities. For this special camps are being organized wherein they are being given employment opportunities along with loans, etc. Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam has been set up in the interest of contractual deployment and to save them from exploitation by contractors, said the Chief Minister.

He said that Small  governments that is Gram Panchayat, Block Committee, and Zilla Parishad have been given autonomy rights so that there can be more development in the village, while ensuring transparency in every work they execute.

Expressing concern over increasing pollution levels, the Chief Minister said that while a policy has been made to ban the plying of old vehicles and concrete steps are also being taken to purify the air by planting 71 lakh trees. Referring to schemes for the benefit of farmers including Mera Pani Meri Virasat, and Meri Fasal Mera Byora, Sh. Manohar Lal said that his government is propagating the teachings of the great men and saints by celebrating the birth anniversaries of all great men.
