Chandigarh, December 4: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today heard the grievances of about 700 people during a Janta Darbar which lasted for about four hours in Karnal.
These included complaints related to various departments such as education, medical, road construction, police etc. which were redressed on the spot and necessary instructions to the officers were given. The Chief Minister added that as some complaints were related to the state level policy matter so they would be resolved from the Chandigarh Headquarters.
The Chief Minister called upon the unemployed youths to register themselves for seeking jobs on the newly developed Kaushal Vikas Nigam portal so that they can get its benefits as per rules.
During the Darbar, an elderly person shared his family issue before the Chief Minister after which the Chief Minister immediately directed Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Nishant Kumar Yadav to take appropriate action.
Similarly, during the hearing of another problem, the Chief Minister directed the District Vigilance Team to be more active so that cases like frauds could be dealt with immediately.
He directed the officers to prepare a proposal for setting up a bus stand in village Balla on the demand of the Panchayat. The Chief Minister directed the officers concerned to take appropriate action regarding the demands of appointment of doctor in the health center, setting up a library in the village and renovation of veterinary hospital.
On this occasion, MLA Indri, Sh. Ramkumar Kashyap, Mayor Smt. Renu Bala Gupta, Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Nishant Kumar Yadav, Superintendent of Police, Sh. Gangaram Punia, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Dr. Manoj Kumar also remained present.
