Chandigarh, December 8: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has expressed grief over the untimely death of Chief of Defense Staff, General Bipin Rawat, his wife Smt. Madhulika Rawat and 11 other officers of Armed Forces in a tragic helicopter crash accident at Coonoor, in Tamil Nadu today.

In a condolence message issued here today, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the untimely demise of Chief of Defense Staff, General Bipin Rawat, his wife and other officers is an irreparable loss to our armed forces and the nation.  

He expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the peace of the departed souls.

The accident of an Air Force helicopter with Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat, his wife Smt Madhulika Rawat and other officers of the armed forces on board that crashed in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu today, has left the entire nation in a state of shock.
