Chandigarh, February 10 – Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal today gave approval for construction of various link roads in the state through HSAMB in furtherance of his commitment in the last Budget to pave all link paths that connect two or more villages.
Among the various projects, construction of link road stretching across a distance of 1.585-km from village Unispur to Bakipur in District Karnal, at a cost of Rs 55.47 lakh.
The construction of roads in Sirsa District namely from village Tarkanwali to Makhosarani stretching across a distance of 4.22-km at a cost of Rs 170 lakh, another for construction of road from village Tarkanwali to Gigarani stretching across a distance of Rs 3.81-km at a cost of Rs 155 lakh and construction of road stretching across a distance of 5.15-km from village Kagdana to Tarkanwali at a cost of Rs 220 lakh were also approved.
The construction of link roads Kaithal district from Urlana to Punjab Border leading to Arnetu stretching at a distance of 1.06-km, Kakheri to Papser stretching at a distance of 2.31-km, Dohar to Dayora, Jaswanti Road stretching at a distance of 3.30-km and Agond Bus Stand to Bhuna Sultania Road stretching at a distance of 2.50-km in District Kaithal over.
