Chandigarh, February 13: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal today announced that a 100 bedded hospital would be set up in Manesar region. The process for the construction of this hospital will be started soon and till its construction, health department has been directed to make arrangements for setting up a temporary dispensary in this area, said the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister also made an announcement for the opening of a Women Police Station in the Manesar area. On the demand made by the entrepreneurs of IMT Manesar, Mr. Manohar Lal also made an announcement for sanctioning Floor Area Ratio (FARs) up to 200. He also announced to revise the zoning of sector 1 of IMT Manesar.
The process of obtaining fire NOCs would be simplified and the buildings upto 18 feet height will also be allowed to get fire NOCs, announced the Chief Minister.
Mr. Manohar Lal made these announcements, while holding a meeting with the entrepreneurs of IMT Manesar. During the meeting, he heard the grievances raised by the entrepreneurs and addressed them on the spot.
The Chief Minister informed that a project of Rs 8,000 crore is being prepared to connect Manesar with Metro Rail. The project is currently in the pipeline. Under this project to be implemented by Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation, the Metro rail line will be built up to Bawal via Manesar. He said that entrepreneurs should also cooperate with the government in improving state’s economy.
The Chief Minister also announced that an amount of Rs 14.80 crore has been sanctioned for replacing the old street lights with LED lights at IMT Manesar and these lights will be installed soon.
On the suggestion made by an entrepreneur to promote the production of toys, the Chief Minister said that Toy City will be set up at Faridabad and Northern Haryana. These projects are under consideration. To make the entry of IMT Manesar beautiful and grand, a beautiful gate will be built. Besides this, reward money of Rs. 10,000 will also be given by the HSIIDC to a person who will send the best designs for this gate.
Regarding the matter of imposing heavy penalty on the commercial units by Power Discoms, the Chief Minister, he said that soon a provision will be made wherein commercial or industrial category whichever rate is higher, will be paid by the entrepreneurs. After this, no heavy penalty will be levied.
The Chief Minister hoped that through the newly formed Manesar Municipal Corporation, many problems of entrepreneurs like sanitation, sewerage, street lights etc. will be resolved.
He said that in any Government, industry has its own importance. The State Government expects the industry to create more employment opportunities for unemployed youth.
The Chief Minister said that a separate MSME department has been created in Haryana for medium and micro units so as to ensure that they get maximum facilities.
