Chandigarh, February 13 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said thatthough the figure of Aspirational District Programme shows substantial progressbut still more focus is required on various factors like health and nutrition,child immunization etc. Sh. Manohar Lal directed the officers to immediatelyfill the vacant vacancies and depute officers as nodal officers in the districtNuh for the smooth functioning of the local administration.
Sh. Manohar Lal today reviewed the progress of District Aspirational Programmeof District Nuh with local administration and senior officers. He directed theofficers to identify gaps in areas which required special attention and furthertake necessary action to improve them.
Sh. Manohar Lal added that Institutional Delivery System in Mewat (Nuh) hassubstantially increased through the continuous efforts of State Government. Hefurther added that when Nuh district was included in the list of AspirationalDistricts in 2018, the rate of Institutional Delivery was 50.61 percent and*today the estimate rate of delivery has increased to 100 percent* which is amatter of pride for the state government and the administration.
It is worth mentioning that earlier Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi had alsopraised Sh. Manohar Lal for concrete implementation of the Aspirationalprogramme in District Nuh and NITI Aayog has also appreciated the specialinitiative of 'Balika Shiksha Vahini' by the Haryana Government. AspirationalDistrict Programme was implemented to develop better health and nutrition,education, agriculture and water resources, financial inclusion, skilldevelopment and other basic facilities for the citizens so that all rounddevelopment of selected districts could be achieved
