Chandigarh, February 24: Haryana Government has decided to celebrate the 644th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Ravidas ji all over the State with great enthusiasm. A State-level programme will be organised on February 27 at Chandigarh and programmes will also be organized at District-level. Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal's address on this occasion will also be telecast live during District-level programmes.

While stating this here today an official spokesperson said that the programmes will be organized under the aegis of the Haryana Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Department. A letter has been issued by the department to all the District Deputy Commissioners in this regard. In the letter, Deputy Commissioners have been asked to ensure all necessary arrangements for the District-level programmes. All necessary COVID-19 guidelines are to be followed during the programme as well.
