Chandigarh, January 19: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the cooperation shown by the corporate houses under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) along with the government efforts during the COVID-19 Pandemic has been commendable.
IT companies like Infosys have a name in the country and the world. Even in this time of crisis, Infosys is brilliantly performing its responsibility, said Sh. Manohar Lal.
The Chief Minister said this while speaking after flagging off the COVID Vaccination Mobile Van donated by Infosys to Civil Hospital, Sector-6, Panchkula under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) here today. Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Sh. Gian Chand Gupta was also present on the occasion.
The COVID Vaccination mobile van will be used for vaccination in remote areas like Morni Hills in the Panchkula district. Besides this, this van will be used as part of the special campaign for vaccination in the slums of the city.
Panchkula district is the third such district in the state where the first and second doses of vaccination have been administered to almost 100 percent of the population. Now people will be motivated for booster doses. Those who have taken the second dose in March and April 2021 are eligible for a booster dose.
Infosys officials apprised the Chief Minister that the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has also appreciated the cooperation of Infosys in the arrangements being made for the prevention of this Pandemic.
On this occasion, Panchkula CMO, Dr Mukta Kumari, Dr Sumit Goyal, besides representatives of Infosys also remained present.
