Chandigarh, January 8: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, while taking strict cognizance in the case of an owner running an illegal hot mix plant on Farrukhnagar- Khairpur road near the KMP Expressway directed the officers concerned to register an FIR against the owner. Besides this, the Chief Minister also directed the officers of Pollution Control Board to impose heavy fine on the plant owner.

The Chief Minister gave these directions while presiding over the meeting of District Public Relations and Grievances Committee in Gurugram held today. It is necessary to take strict action against those who are found violating the government rules and regulations, said Mr. Manohar Lal.

 During the meeting, it was informed that earlier the Pollution Control Board had also sealed the said illegal hot mix plant, but then the Board had received a complaint stating that the owner had again made the plant operational by breaking the Board Seal. This issue was placed before the Chief Minister today.

 While resolving another complaint regarding rehabilitation of the landowners of five villages namely Gadoli Khurd, Harsaru, Mohammadpur, Khandsa, and Narsinghpur whose land was acquired for SEZs in the year 2006 by Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation, Chief Minister directed the officers to share complete case details and assured that he will himself review the matter.

 Similarly, another matter regarding the construction of park by Maruti Kunj Society on the complainant's land was raised in the meeting.  The Chief Minister was apprised that out of the total 11 Kanal land of the park, around 9 Kanal 9 Marla land   belongs to the complainant and one Kanal 11 Marla land belongs to the society. The society has also constructed a building in that park. However, the Chief Minister, while directing the officers to resolve the matter said that concerned Tehsildar should   call both the parties and settle the issue by directing society representatives for giving equivalent land on which the society has constructed their building to the complainant at another place.

 Similarly, while giving directions for removing illegal encroachment done on the Municipal Corporation land along side ROB in village Bajghera by Bengali doctors etc, Chief Minister directed that encroachment on this land should be removed   immediately.

 On this occasion, Adviser, Public Safety, Grievances, Good Governance, Mr. Anil Rao, MLA Pataudi, Mr. Satya Prakash Jarawta, MLA Badshahpur, Mr. Rakesh Daultabad, MLA Gurugram, Mr. Sudhir Singla, Mayor Gurugram, Mrs. Madhu Azad,   Deputy Commissioner, Gurugram, Mr. Yash Garg, Commissioner of Police, Mr. K.K. Rao, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Gurugram,  Mr. Vinay Pratap Singh and several officials were present.
