Chandigarh, June 15: Haryana Cabinet which met under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal here today approved the proposal for making Executive Amendments in Haryana State Forest Department Section (Group-C) Service Rules 1998. These rules may now be called as Haryana State Forest Executive Section (Group-C) Service (Amendment) Rules, 2021.
The Haryana State Forest Executive Section (Group-C) Service Rules, 1998 were notified by the Haryana Government on April 17, 1988 mainly to regulate the recruitment and service condition of persons appointed to various posts of Executive Cadre being governed by these rules. Over the years, since this notification, there have been various changes in Government policies, eligibility criterion and recruitment conditions as also in the conditions related to training and service.
Therefore Haryana State Forest Executive Section (Group-C) Service (Amendment) Rules, 2021 are to be notified to incorporate these changes pertaining to recruitment and service conditions governing the Executive Cadre posts.
As per the rules, the recruitment of Forest Ranger, Deputy Ranger, Forester and Forest Guard would be done through direct recruitment and by Promotion.
As per the rules, the Deputy Rangers and Foresters shall undergo the Forester training for a period of eleven months, if appointed by direct recruitment and for a period of three months, if appointed by promotion, at Forest School.
Likewise, Forest Guards appointed by direct recruitment or by promotion shall undergo Forest Guard training for a period of 5 and half months at the Forest School.
