Chandigarh June 20 - The Jat community on Monday thanked Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal for providing space for the construction of Jat Bhawan in Gurugram and honoured him with all turban.
About 2,000 square yards of land has been allotted to Jat Kalyan Sabha for construction of Jat Bhawan in Sector 10 of Gurugram, the allotment letter of which was presented by the Chief Minister to the representatives of the Sabha at Public Works Rest House in Gurugram.
With this land, the old demand of the Jat community to build a Jat Bhawan in Gurugram has been fulfilled. Due to this there is an atmosphere of happiness in the Jat community.
The representatives said that some issues were being faced regarding the acquiring of land for Jat Bhawan, however, Sh. Manohar Lal intervened and got the advertisement out again, due to which this work was completed.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister, said that he is following the principle of 'Haryana Ek-Haryanavi Ek' and wants to take Haryana to new heights of development through inclusive growth. He said that selfless work bears good results.
The Chief Minister said that he wants goodwill to prevail among the people of the state and good ideas should be spread. He added that we should envision to take the society forward on the path of progress. He said that social institutions also work in their own way to provide facilities to the society. He told the people of Jat community, who came to express their thanks, that they should construct a good building on this land which will serve the people for a long time.
President, Jat Kalyan Sabha, Sh. Pritam Singh said that soon the construction work of this building will be started after laying the foundation and this building would be for one and all.
President, Jat Kalyan Sabha, Sh. Pritam Singh, General Secretary, Jat Kalyan Sabha, Sh. Manoj Sheoran, and other representatives of the community had visited the Chief Minister for expressing their gratitude.
