Chandigarh, June 27 - Chandigarh, June 27- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that continuous efforts are on for the release of Karnal youth Vishal Jude, who is lodged in Australia's jail. The Chief Minister said that he will meet the External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar again regarding the release of Vishal Jude and will urge the Australian High Commission to intervene in this matter and ensure Vishal's safety.
On the second day of his visit in Manali, the Chief Minister held a virtual meeting with the representatives of NGO's and NRIs living in Australia today and thanked them for the help extended by them by sending oxygen concentrators and other health equipment to India during the COVID-19 pandemic. BJP State President, Sh. OP Dhankhar and other officials also joined this virtual meeting.
The Chief Minister said that he has spoken to External Affairs Minister, Dr. S Jaishankar who has assured full cooperation from the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian High Commission in Australia regarding Vishal's release.
The Chief Minister said that the Haryana Government is standing with the Haryanvi Diaspora living abroad in their joys and sorrows. The present State Government is moving ahead with the mantra of Haryana Ek-Haryanvi Ek and if any Haryanvi living abroad is facing problems abroad the Haryana Government will provide legal assistance.
The Chief Minister also urged the Haryanvi Diaspora and foreign investors to invest in Haryana. He said that Haryana has moved towards digitization in the last six and a half years. Ease of doing business, single-window clearance system for setting up new industries have put Haryana on the world map proving to be a game-changer in wooing investors to Haryana.
Describing Haryana as a suitable destination for investment, the Chief Minister said that the State Government has constituted the Foreign Cooperation Department to resolve various issues related to foreign investment and to coordinate with foreign investors. Along with this, a single window system has been created on which investors get all types of approvals online easily in 45 days to set up their industry. Apart from this, a Relationship Manager is provided to the investors who wish to set up their business in Haryana for their convenience.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that Haryana Government is committed to create a progressive business environment in the state. In Haryana, 10 industrial model townships with world class facilities have been set up. A separate MSME Department has been created for the purpose of promoting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the state.
He said that Haryana is a preferred destination for auto companies and auto-component manufacturers. Along with this, the state has also made its mark in the field of IT and Biotechnology. Haryana is a leader in software exports and is also a preferred destination for IT / ITeS facilities. Haryana has immense potential for industry in the fields of auto manufacturing, skill development, IT and ITES, agro and agro-based industries such as food processing, health and animal science, tourism, integrated aviation hubs, etc.
The Chief Minister said that the Haryana Government believes in H2H i.e. 'Heart to Heart' model among various business models like B2B, G2G, B2G and lays emphasis on the satisfaction of the investors as well as the consumers. He said that after the crisis period of COVID-19 pandemic, the State Government is trying to attract foreign investors to invest in the State to put Haryana on the world map once again.
Sh. OP Dhankhar also thanked the NGO's and NRIs living in Australia for their help in India during the COVID-19 pandemic. He said that the BJP Government is ready to provide all kinds of help to the migrant Haryanvis. His government has always been working for the welfare of every citizen of Haryana and will continue to do so.
