Chandigarh, June 27 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the areas where land is required for developmental projects should be taken through e-bhoomi portal so that the pending projects are completed soon and public is benefitted. He also asked the officers concerned that other than written correspondence they should inspect the spot regarding such projects and submit the report with immediate effect so as to ensure speedy implementation of the schemes.

The Chief Minister was presiding over a meeting organised today regarding the implementation of Chief Minister's Announcements made in the districts during his visits.

He said that so far, 9,128 announcements have been made out of which 5947 have been commissioned.  Apart from this, work is in progress on 1445 announcements and 1359 announcements are pending on which work will be started at the earliest. He directed the officers concerned to identify the site for construction of Indian Heroes and Warriors memorial at Kala Amb in Panipat and Sikh Museum in Kurukshetra and submit report in two days.

The Chief Minister said that a policy should be formulated after conducting a survey to regularize the shops along roads. The Chief Minister was reviewing the announcements made for shops on Shahbad Road and Barwala Road in Kurukshetra. The officials apprised the Chief Minister that permission is granted to build guest houses around the residential area.  For this, an application has to be submitted on the portal of the department.

The Chief Minister said that next month, he will review the announcements constituency wise in detail along with the MLAs. Apart from this, all the heads of departments should also monitor the Chief Minister's Announcements regularly. He said that mapping is being done across the state to build a sports stadium.  Therefore, the work of stadium etc. should be done through Sports Department only.  He was apprised that 50 acres of land was required for Science City Gurugram.  It came to light during the meeting that for this, a Committee has been constituted under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal to select the land.

He said that Secretariat buildings would be constructed in all the sub-divisions of the state which do not have Mini Secretariat. For this, land process and other formalities should be completed. The work of construction of houses of administrative officers in Kharkhoda is being done at a fast pace. He directed to rename the Safidon Stadium in the  name of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee with immediate effect.

The Chief Minister was apprised during the meeting that the construction work of flour mill at Jatusana would be completed in April 2023. Also, all the formalities to open martial arts school in Lohgarh would be completed soon.

The Chief Minister was informed that a hospital is being constructed in Sector 102 of Gurugram and a hospital will also be built in Sector 67.  Apart from this, permission has been given to set up Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital in Bhiwani's Prem Nagar at a cost of Rs 323 lakh and an Ayurvedic hospital in Kalwan at a cost of Rs 34 lakh.
