Chandigarh, June 3: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that all such unauthorised colonies whose streets are more than three meters wide and main roads more than six meters wide will be regularised. Along with this, a plan regarding basic facilities to be provided in all such colonies will also be formulated.
The Chief Minister said this while addressing the people in Karnal’s Ward No. 4 today. He said that the main objective of the present state government is to provide maximum ease and convenience to the people with the spirit of service and welfare.

The Chief Minister said that directions have been issued to start a special campaign by deputing two employees in every municipal council and municipal corporation office for the work related to the property ID correction for the convenience of the people.
He said that the state government is collecting data by conducting a survey of every family which includes total number of members, numbers of unemployed and elderly people; so that various schemes related to it can be implemented for the welfare of the people.
The Chief Minister said that through the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP), about 12.5 lakh ration cards have been made in the state. He said that those ration cards which are valid and have been wrongly cut due to some reason will be added to the same category again. He directed that the ward councilors should prepare a list of such persons from their respective wards and give them to the office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner for the process of adding their names again.
He directed the officials to ensure that the families whose annual income is less than 1.80 lakh, are getting the benefits of the government schemes.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that the state government has implemented CHIRAYU Haryana Yojana along with Ayushman Bharat Yojana to provide better health facilities to the poor families. Meanwhile, he directed the officers to conduct a survey and prepare a list of all the chaupals, community centres and dharamshalas in the district, for necessary repair work or new construction; as required.
The Chief Minister also observed two-minute silence to condole the loss of lives in the Odisha train accident.
Gharaunda MLA, Sh. Harvinder Kalyan, Karnal Mayor Smt. Renu Bala Gupta, BJP state general secretary Ved Pal Advocate and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
