Chandigarh, March 12– Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that State Government aims at achieving minimum 50,000 job linkages of youth of Haryana in private sector in 2021-22.
The Chief Minister, who also holds Finance portfolio, disclosed this while presenting the State Budget for the year 2021-22 during the ongoing budget session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha today.
He said that Under Saksham Yuva Yojna 14,710 Saksham Youth were provided training through Kaushal Vikas Mission Placement Cell. Saksham Yuva would be provided training on Employability skills such as critical thinking, communication, CV making and Interviews for their placement in private sector, he added. He said that the benefits of this intervention would be extended to 1.5 lakh youth within next 1 year.
He said that 1610 enterprises have been promoted during the year 2020-21 under the scheme - Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Programme, implemented by the Rural Development department.
