Chandigarh, March 2: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal today met with the star-cast of Hindi film 'Mera Fauji Calling' including Actors, Sh. Sharman Joshi, Sh. Ranjha Vikram Singh, Producer, Sh. Jimmy Satish Asija and others. This film is based on valour of an Indian soldier and his family.
While welcoming the star-cast, Sh. Manohar Lal said that it is a matter of pleasure that this film is based on the bravery and sacrifice of a soldier. He hoped that this inspiring film will awaken the spirit of patriotism in the younger generation. Haryana is the land of 'Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan and Jai Pehalwan', which is why this film is bound to be close to the hearts of the people of the state, he added. The Chief Minister also expressed his keenness to watch this film.
The Chief Minister said that the Haryana Government has formulated its own film-policy in which special grant is given for the films made with the background of Haryana. He also invited film producers to shoot their films at historical and tourist places of Haryana.
Sh. Sharman Joshi said that the film 'Mera Fauji Calling', based on the life of an army soldier, will resonate with the land of Haryana, because the entire nation is aware of the enthusiasm of the Haryana youth to be recruited in the Indian army.
On this occasion, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and Director General, Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Dr. Amit Kumar Agrawal, Media Advisor to the Chief Minister, Sh. Amit Arya, were also present.
