Chandigarh, March 20 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal while speaking during the question hour of the ongoing Budget session of the State Vidhan Sabha said that Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) is an autonomous body and solely decides the process of recruitment of officers and employees at its level. The State Government does not interfere in the recruitment process, said Sh. Manohar Lal.
The Chief Minister said that if there is any issue related to ensuring transparency in the recruitment process of HPSC, then the state government can direct HPSC to ensure transparency. But the government cannot interfere in any of the recruitment processes of HPSC, said Sh. Manohar Lal.
He said that for the recruitment of any post, again it is HPSC that decides if to take objective type (OMR based) or subjective type examination. The Commission publishes the detailed syllabus for each post and conducts the exam accordingly, said the Chief Minister.
