Chandigarh, May 12 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal congratulated all the paramedical staff associated with the nursing profession on the occasion of International Nursing Day.

The Chief Minister issued a message on the occasion of International Nursing Day,  where he said that this year the theme of International Nursing Day has been given as 'A Vision for Future Health Care', in  view of the Covid-19 pandemic. He said that today is a day to express gratitude towards the nursing staff who are fighting on the front lines against the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Chief Minister said that the nursing profession is in the service of humanity.  For the last one year, the nursing community globally has been a major contributor in the fight against the Covid pandemic.  Along with their family responsibilities, the nurses also perform their duties in hospitals with complete dedication and compassion, this is the only reason why they are known as sisters.
