Chandigarh, May 17: Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that following the footsteps of the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi; the state government is also working for the welfare of every section of the society by implementing the schemes at the ground level.
He said that the people of the state are availing benefits of various schemes including Parivar Pehchan Patra, CHIRAYU Haryana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Old Age Pension Scheme, Mera Pani Meri Virasat and Meri Fasal Mera Byora. Apart from this, jobs are being provided on the basis of merit in the state, he added.
The Chief Minister was addressing the party workers during a programme organized in Yamunanagar today.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that in the last eight-and-a-half-years, the government has brought many radical changes in the system along with all-round development of state. “Parivar Pehchan Patra is an example of this, through which we are implementing schemes focused on education, health, security and self-reliance,” he added.
He said that the central and the state government have implemented various ambitious schemes on the ground for the upliftment of Antyodaya families. “Following the basic mantra given by the Prime Minister, Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas aur Sabka Vishwas, the state government is working with the spirit of Antyodaya for the welfare and upliftment of the last mile person,” said the Chief Minister.
He called upon the party workers to disseminate information about the public welfare schemes being implemented by the central and state government.
The Chief Minister said that the record of every citizen is with the state government through Parivar Pehchan Patra. on the basis of which schemes would be formulated for public welfare.
