Chandigarh, May 31: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has expressed satisfaction over the comprehensive arrangements made by the Haryana Government in the state for the control of COVID-19. Sh. Manohar Lal was interacting with media persons after meeting the Prime Minister in New Delhi today.
The Chief Minister said that he met Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi and apprised him about the extensive arrangements for the control of COVID-19 in Haryana. Along with this, he also apprised the Prime Minister of the present and the future requirements of Haryana to combat COVID-19.
The Chief Minister said that in view of the possibility of third wave of COVID-19, the Prime Minister has asked to be alert in the coming times as well. He said that the Prime Minister was also informed about the requirements for vaccine stocks and black fungus medicine.
While responding to a query regarding vaccinations in Delhi, the Chief Minister said that he said that he did not say that the vaccine should not be given. Delhi Chief Minister, Sh. Arvind Kejriwal is also aware and we also know what the status of the stock of COVID-19 vaccine is. We have said that the vaccination campaign should be conducted in view of the available stock. Now it is not appropriate to do politics over it.
He said that 12 crore vaccines are going to be available in the country soon. Distribution will be done according to the norms.
