Chandigarh, May 9: Haryana Cabinet which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today accorded approval to proposal of amendment in Section 3-C of the Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas Act, 1975 for registration of independent floors in commercial plots and SCOs.
Currently, registration of independent floors is not permitted in SCOs/ commercial plots forming part of licenses issued under the Act of 1975. Further, HSVP has already allowed registration of independent floors of SCOs/SCFs/DSSs. Therefore, at parity with the policy followed by HSVP, it is proposed that registration of independent floors may also be allowed in case of commercial plots/SCOs forming part of licensed colonies.
Section 3-C of the Act of 1975 enables registration of independent residential floors for the purpose of transfer, sale, gift, exchange or lease in perpetuity in a colony, for which a licence has been granted under the said act.
