Chandigarh, November 9 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal reiterated his commitment to achieve uniform development in every assembly constituency over the past 9 years. Embracing the fundamental principle of "Haryana Ek-Haryanvi Ek" and the concept of "Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas," the Chief Minister held a Jan Samvad programme today in the Sadhaura Legislative Assembly Constituency today. The overwhelming response from the people marked their approval of his vision.
Responding to the demand for a library during the Jan Samvad, the Chief Minister announced a grant of Rs 10 lakh for the establishment of a library in the Municipality building. Emphasizing the importance of education, he highlighted the potential for children to not only read books but also prepare for competitive examinations in the new library.
The Chief Minister lauded the success of Mission Merit in the state, where educated youth secure government jobs transparently, boosting the confidence of the youth to engage in library and coaching center studies.
Furthermore, he disclosed that families without anyone employed in a government job receive a 5 percent additional marks provision, benefiting 60 to 70 percent of children. This initiative sends a clear message to the public that government jobs are now accessible based on merit.
Addressing the demand for a Community Health Center (CHC) in Sadhaura, the Chief Minister directed officials to expedite the necessary processes for the construction of a 50-bed CHC within 15 days. He confirmed that the Directorate General, Health Services had cleared the file, and the estimate would soon be prepared and approved by the Public Works Department.
The Chief Minister highlighted the government's efforts to provide employment alongside government jobs through Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Melas. These melas offer loans ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 2 lakh to youth for establishing self-employment, aiming to enhance their income and lead a dignified life.
Additionally, the Chief Minister spoke about the Haryana Aay Vriddhi Board, the first board of its kind in the country, dedicated to increasing the income of poor individuals.
Addressing the issue of destitute animals in Sadhaura, the Chief Minister announced that the government would provide arrangements for cow sheds, including land, boundary walls, and fodder, to Gram Panchayats dedicating 10-15 acres of land. A budget of Rs 100 crore is allocated for this initiative.
Responding to demands for infrastructure development, the Chief Minister instructed officials to swiftly complete the construction of the 1.5-kilometer-long stretch of Sabhapur-Sabdi old road of Sadhaura-Bilaspur. He also assured priority for agricultural tube well connections in Panchayat land adopting micro-irrigation.
The Chief Minister approved one crucial demand from each Sarpanch immediately, addressing issues related to houses and community centers. He shared that 2830 Ayushman Cards were issued for Sadhaura residents, with 97 people benefiting from the scheme. The Chief Minister emphasized the efficiency of the Parivar Pehchan Patra in verifying data for the Old Age Honor Allowance Scheme, enabling 106 people in Sadhaura to enroll from the comfort of their homes.
During the event, the Chief Minister personally presented Old Age Samman Allowance certificates to individuals including Maya Ram, Ramesh Chandra, Kailash Chand, Tara Chandra, Jagdish, Dharam Kaur, Narendra Kumar, Gulshan, and Man Singh.
Deputy Commissioner Captain Manoj Kumar, Superintendent of Police, Mr. Ganga Ram Poonia, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Ayush Sinha, former MLA of Sadhaura Balwant Singh and other dignitaries were present on this occasion.
