Chandigarh, October 16 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal's Jan Samvad in the village of Sapan Kheri in Kaithal district held today became memorable for more than 40 Gram Panchayats when the Sarpanches themselves presented an outline of development-related works in their villages to the Chief Minister.
During this, the Chief Minister assured the fulfillment of each word in the demand letters submitted by all Gram Panchayats. Besides this, during the Samvad, the Chief Minister directed officers to take prompt action on complaints submitted by the general public. Notably during the Samvad, the Chief Minister listened to the issues of more than 40 Panchayats of Kaithal.
In this Samvad, Ritika, who has been suffering from a medical ailment, received a valuable gift from the Chief Minister after he announced to give Rs. 50,000 from his discretionary fund for her treatment.
The Chief Minister said that the government has worked for the upliftment of marginalized individuals in society over the last 9 years and has undertaken development work while acknowledging the needs of each village and town. In the same way, under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, significant development work has been carried out in the last 9 years and 6 months, said Sh. Manohar Lal.
The Chief Minister challenged the Opposition, stating that Haryana is leading in development matters, and this government has accomplished several times more development work within half the budget compared to previous governments, ensuring that 100 percent of the money reaches the poorest of the poor. The present state government has worked to make all schemes transparent through the online system.
On this occasion, Sh. Manohar Lal also extended birthday wishes to 285 people from 40 Gram Panchayats and said that the government is working for the upliftment and convenience of the people.
The Chief Minister said that the present State government has worked to provide facilities like automatic pensions, Ayushman cards, and Chirayu cards through the portal system. Recently, 12,000 complaints related to floods were received through the e-Kshatipoorti portal, and work has been done to deposit a sum of Rs. 5.50 crore into the accounts of beneficiaries with just one click. Apart from this, financial assistance has also been provided to the beneficiaries under the DAYALU scheme. The government has implemented an online transfer policy. Now, JBT teachers will also be posted at their preferred stations, said Sh. Manohar Lal.
