Chandigarh October 16: Haryana Cabinet which met under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal held here today approved the proposal of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department to transfer land measuring 426 kanal 19 Marla of Agriculture Department situated in the Revenue Estate of village Jatheri (Pundri), district Kaithal to Maharshi Valmiki Sanskrit University, Kaithal on collector rate as per the Government Policy for establishing the University.

The Cabinet also approved the proposal of Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department for transfer of land measuring 4 acre 3 kanal land of the Government livestock Farm, Hisar to Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam for the construction of New Model Store at Hisar at collector rate of Rs. 1 crore per acre.

In yet another decision, the Cabinet approved the proposal of Development and Panchayats Department for the exchange of land measuring 13 Kanal 2 Marla of Panchayat Samiti, Bhattu Kalan with the land measuring 13 Kanal 2 Marla of M/s NCML Private Limited, Gurugram situated in the village Bhattu Kalan, district Fatehabad for laying Railway line for construction of 50,000 MT grain silos.

This activity will generate employment in the nearby villages and will be beneficial for the farmers of the area.
