Chandigarh, October 17: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal while simultaneously inaugurating as many as 71 'Har-Hith Stores' across Haryana from Gurugram today said that after this inauguration, the State Government now aims to open 5000 more such stores in the state. Meanwhile, 550 products of 60 companies manufacturing domestic products have been made available at these stores.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the State Government has set a target of providing employment to a member of every family of the state by the year 2025 and to achieve this goal no stone would be left unturned for creating new dimensions of self-employment.
The Chief Minister inaugurated a Har-Hith store in Farrukhnagar town in Gurugram district and after the inauguration, Sh. Manohar Lal also became first customer of that store as he bought the goods from that store. He also congratulated Naveen, who runs the store for starting this new work and said that he is an inspiration to other youth.
After this, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal went to Rosy Pelican Tourist Complex in Sultanpur, from where he virtually inaugurated 70 Har-Hith stores opened across the state.
In his inaugural address, the Chief Minister said that today Har-Hith stores have been inaugurated simultaneously at 71 places in the state. While on the one hand youth are getting employment opportunities from these stores, on the other people will get pure, certified and quality goods at affordable rates near their homes.
The Chief Minister said that such a store would be opened in an area having a population of 3,000 in rural areas and 10,000 in urban areas. People will get direct and indirect benefits from these stores. Apart from MSMEs, small industrial units and cooperative sector units, quality products prepared by the Self Help Group of women will be made available at these stores at a price lower than that in the market, added Sh. Manohar Lal.
The Chief Minister added that all the goods will be sold through computerized system. He said that the local markets in rural areas are almost closed and now people have to go to the city to get the daily need items. With the opening of these stores, people will get good quality goods in the village itself. He said that after this, Vita booths would also be opened across Haryana.
The Chief Minister also informed that the account of every family has been prepared through Parivar Pehchan Patra. On the same basis, schemes have been started for the families by identifying them. While citing various examples, Sh. Manohar Lal said that Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana has been formulated. He also said that there is a plan to provide employment opportunities to around two lakh families in the coming one year.
The Chief Minister further said that having a means of employment gives satisfaction to a person and his energy is channeled in the right direction. To make the youth of the state skilled, the government has opened the country's first skill development university in Dudhola village of Palwal district in Haryana.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that the land under cultivation has become small and apart from doing animal husbandry, fisheries etc. farmers should adopt diversification of crops and should grow mushrooms or vegetables etc. instead of traditional crops, to increase their income.
The Chief Minister said that the standards of below poverty line (BPL) families have been changed. Now any family, whose annual income from all sources is up to Rs. 1.80 lakh, will also come under the purview of BPL, whereas earlier the income limit was Rs. 1.20 lakh per annum.
Earlier, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Sh. J. P. Dalal sharing his views, said that for the welfare of everyone, Chief Minister always comes out with out of the box schemes. He has done great innovative work, he added.
On this occasion, Chairman, Haryana Agro Industries Corporation and MLA Badshahpur, Sh. Rakesh Daultabad, MLA Pataudi, Sh. Satya Prakash Jrawta, Public Safety Advisor, Sh. Anil Rao, Media Advisor to Chief Minister, Sh. Amit Arya, Gurugram Divisional Commissioner, Sh. Rajeev Ranjan, Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Yash Garg, DCP Manesar, Sh. Varun Singla, Managing Director, Haryana Agro Industries Corporation, Sh. Rohit Yadav and many other dignitaries remained present.
Meanwhile, when Chief Minister had gone to inaugurate the Har-Hith store opened on Hailey Mandi road in Farrukhnagar, the local people gave him a grand welcome and raised slogans in his support. The local people presented a turban to the Chief Minister showing gratitude towards him. They also gave a demand letter to the Chief Minister.
Sh. Manohar Lal was so overwhelmed with welcome that he started walking on road to accept the greetings of the people by shaking hands with them.
Similarly, a large number of people had gathered in Sultanpur's tourist complex after receiving the news of the Chief Minister's arrival. These people also gave a warm welcome to the Chief Minister. After the online inauguration of Har-Hith stores, Chief Minister reached out to these villagers and interacted with them. He also took feedback from these villagers by discussing the availability of fertilizers and other things.
