Chandigarh, October 25: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that a plan has been prepared to raise the income level of one lakh families having annual income of Rs. 50,000 up to Rs.1.80 lakh per annum under the Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana".
Addressing the 'Abhinandan Ceremony' in the evening session of 'International Vaish Mahasammelan' held in New Delhi, Sh. Manohar Lal called for active contribution from Vaish community for the upliftment and welfare of the underprivileged sections of the society.
The Chief Minister said that the Vaish community has contributed significantly to the country's economy by expanding trade, business and industry.
The Chief Minister said that the annual income of 11 lakh families in the state is up to Rs.50,000. Under the 'Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojna', a plan has been prepared to initially increase the level of income of one lakh families upto Rs.1.80 lakh.
The Chief Minister said that following the path paved by Maharaja Agrasen, the Vaish community has always contributed to the upliftment of the underprivileged sections of the society.
The government is also giving new directions to development by following the principle of 'Sabka Saath- Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas-Sabka Prayas',added Sh. Manohar Lal.
Addressing the 'International Vaish Mahasammelan', Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Sh. Gian Chand Gupta said that the work of social service is being carried forward by the International Vaish Federation with the spirit of service is almost similar to the pivotal role played by a farmer who produces food and feeds everyone, in the same way the Vaish community is making a pivotal contribution in the economy of the country.
In the 'Abhinandan Ceremony', on behalf of the International Vaish Federation, the dignitaries of the Vaish community traditionally felicitated the Chief Minister by presenting him a turban and shawl, while Chief Minister felicitated various youths of Vaish community who cleared the Civil Services Examination.
Member of Parliament, Sh.TG Venkatesh, MLA, Sh. Narendra Gupta, President, International Vaish Federation, Sh. Ashok Agarwal, Chairman, Omaxe, Sh. Rohtas Goyal, Sh. Shyam Jaju, Mayor, Rohtak Municipal Corporation, Sh. Manmohan Goyal and Sh. Jagmohan Goyal remained present in the 'Abhinandan Ceremony'.
