Chandigarh, September 25 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today launched Foreign Cooperation Department (FCD)’s official website http://www.fcd.haryana.gov.in a unique platform that has been created to advance the vision of the State Government.

The website presents an incredible opportunity to Non- Resident Haryanvis to reconnect, rediscover, and revive their roots in Haryana. FCD’s website provides comprehensive information about Haryana, Haryanvi culture, reasons to invest in Haryana, the export performance of the State, etc.

The novel features of the website include Diaspora Registration Form, Export Registration Form, Business Information Form and Export Guide for the potential exporters from Haryana.

The Foreign Cooperation Department is the first of its kind of Department established by any State in India. FCD propagates State Government’s vision of Transforming Haryana through ‘Go Global Approach’.

The FCD is a dedicated Department of the Government of Haryana responsible for State’s diplomacy, forging bilateral and multilateral ties at the international level, and assisting the Haryanvi diaspora.

The FCD aims to promote Haryana as the most preferred destination for foreign investments; boost exports from Haryana; to formulate country-wise strategies for the promotion of trade, inbound and outbound investments, to advance Haryanvi culture and further the interests of Haryanvis through engagement, advocacy, and assistance.

The Department is also the State’s nodal agency responsible for formulating country-wise communication strategies to promote mutual cooperation, and to liaison with Indian Missions abroad and Foreign Missions in India on matters concerning investment, employment, education, skill development, culture, and NRI/PIO affairs.
