Chandigarh October 16: Haryana Cabinet which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal here today approved amendments in the Official Member of Haryana Governance Reforms Authority (HGRA) notification dated January 4, 2017 to notify inclusion of Director General, Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA) as official member of HGRA and associate the Director General, HIPA in its deliberations.

The Haryana Government has set up HGRA on January 4, 2017 and has constituted an Empowerment Committee under HGRA on January 24, 2017. HGRA has since then done excellent work in association with concerned Departments which is evident from the six reports submitted by it for the year 2017, 2018 and 2020. The HGRA has conducted eight General meetings so far and has also set up 17 Task Groups for specific areas, sectors and issues. The Task Groups of HGRA have conducted 17 meetings and recommended the suggestions regarding concerned areas, sectors and issues.
