Chandigarh, January 31: Haryana Cabinet which met under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal at New Delhi today approved to withdraw Class-II posts (Ayurvedic Medical Officer, Unani Medical Officer, Homeopathic Medical Officer and Ayurveda, Unani, Resident Physician) from the preview of Haryana Public Service Commission.
At present 203 posts (Ayurvedic Medical Officer-175, Unani Medical Officer-8, Homeopathic Medical Officer-18 and Ayurved, Resident Physician- 4 (Group-B)are vacant and need to be filled up urgently to provide the health care services to the masses especially in rural areas. In view of immediate requirement to fill these posts, it is necessary to take these posts of Ayurvedic Medical Officer, Unani Medical Officer, Homeopathic Medical Officer, and Ayurvedic Resident Physician, (Group-B) out of the purview of Haryana Public Service Commission in order to recruit them through the Department.
