Chandigarh, December 1-Haryana Cabinet which met under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal here today accorded approval to the proposal of Administrative Department to grant approval of lease out 210 Acre 3 Kanal 5 Marla land to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for 99 years at Rs. 1.00 per acre per year for establishment of AIIMS at Majra Mustil Bhalkhi in District Rewari of Haryana.

The approval has been granted keeping in view the budget speech announcement by Union Finance Minister on February 01, 2019 regarding establishment of AIIMS in Haryana and decision of the State Government to provide encumbrances free land for the establishment of AIIMS in the State and also the mandatory requirement by Department of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India to handover the complete land to establish AIIMS in the state.
