Chandigarh, March 18 - Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal congratulated Mrs. Sushma Gupta, after being appointed as Vice-Chairperson of Haryana State Red Cross Society today. Mrs. Sushma Gupta has been associated with social service work for the past several decades.

Haryana Transport and Mines and Geology Minister Mr. Mool Chand Sharma today accompanied the newly appointed Vice Chairperson Sushma Gupta to her office and also extended her heartfelt greetings. MLAs including Mr. Narendra Gupta, Mr. Rajesh Nagar, Mr. Nayan Pal Rawat and Deputy Advocate General of Punjab and Haryana High Court Mr. Ajay Sharma were also present on the occasion.

Mrs. Sushma Gupta thanked the Chief Minister and the Transport Minister for showing faith in her and assured that she will dedicatedly work towards her responsibilities. She said that with her two-decade-long working experience with the Red Cross Society she would bring qualitative improvement in the Society. She expressed confidence that she would try to give the direct benefit of the Red Cross Society to those needy people.
