Chandigarh, October 27- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal flagged off 20 new ambulances costing Rs 1.80 crore through video conferencing here today to further improve the health services of Gurugram district.

These ambulances have been provided by Zee Entertainment Enterprise under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated the people on the first anniversary of the second term of the state government. He said that the support given by the corporate sectors is commendable. He further added that the corporate sector has always extended support the time of any during crisis.

He said that with the introduction of 20 new ambulances health services will reach people living in rural areas and far off places. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that now people are availing the benefit of free health services online through e-Sanjeevani application. The people are more aware about this app than before and are taking health advice from doctors.

Referring to health facilities, the Chief Minister said that MBBS seats have been augmented from 750 seats in the year 2014-15 to more than 1,700 seats now.
