Chandigarh, July 22 — Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, has congratulated Team ISRO for the historic launch of #Chandrayaan 2 from Sriharikota, placing India in the league of top scientifically advanced nations in the world.

In a statement issued here today, the Chief Minister said, “It is a proud moment for all Indians. Congratulations to ISRO scientists, engineers and technicians for giving our space programme a big push, setting a new benchmark in space technology, and getting India a seat on the high bench presently occupied by three top nations. I congratulate Team ISRO and wish them success in all future ventures.”

The Chief Minister thanked the Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, for encouraging the scientists to do the commendable job. #Chandrayaan2 mission is expected to lead to new discoveries and enrich our knowledge systems, he added.
