Chandigarh November 15: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has described all the newly inducted Ministers as capable and efficient and said that we all would work as a team and take all necessary steps which are in the interest of the State. He said that this being the second consecutive term of the government, besides taking several new initiatives, work which are in the pipeline would be completed at the earliest.
Mr Manohar Lal was interacting with the media persons after he accompanied the newly inducted Ministers to their allotted offices in the Haryana Civil Secretariat here today.
Mr Manohar Lal accompanied Cabinet Ministers namely Mr Anil Vij, Mr Kanwar Pal, Mr Mool Chand Sharma, Mr Ranjit Singh, Mr Jai Parkash Dalal and Dr Banwari Lal and Ministers of State namely Mr Om Prakash Yadav, Mrs Kamlesh Dhanda and Mr Sandeep Singh. He congratulated the Ministers and also offered them sweets.
In reply to a question, Mr Manohar Lal said that yesterday the ten newly inducted Ministers were administered oath as well allocated departments. He said that like the last term, today he accompanied the newly inducted Ministers to their allotted offices and asked them to work in an efficient manner in the interest of the people of the State.
In reply to yet another question, he said that though all the Ministers are experienced and capable as some of them served as Ministers and MLAs earlier also, they have been asked to take the assistance of their fellow Ministers of the first term in case they feel any difficulty.
In reply to a question, the Chief Minister said that caste and area factors have been kept into consideration while inducting the Ministers, but there are always some limitations.
On being asked about the date of first cabinet meeting of the present State Government, the Chief Minister said that the cabinet meeting could be held on next Monday.
Among those present on this occasion included Chief Secretary Mrs Keshni Anand Arora, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mr Rajesh Khullar, Director General, Information, Public Relations and Languages Department Mr Sameer Pal Srow, family members and supporters and newly inducted Ministers.
