Chandigarh, August 14- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has extended warm greetings and good wishes to people of the state on the eve of 73rd Independence Day and also on the festival of Raksha Bandhan, which is falling on the same day.

The Chief Minister stated that our country got freedom due to the struggle and sacrifices made by brave freedom fighters. He expressed his gratitude to the martyrs who fought for the country before and after Independence.

He also wished the people on the occasion of 'Raksha Bandhan' and said that the festival is a symbol of special bond between brothers and sisters. He also wished them prosperity, good health and a brighter future.
