Chandigarh, July 1: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal has said that the way Doctors are serving humanity as Corona Warriors during the COVID-19 pandemic is commendable. During this hour of need, a new initiative in the form of telemedicine was also started.

In a message issued here today on the occasion of National Doctor's Day, the Chief Minister said that a doctor’s mission to serve the needy people during this crisis is the greatest service to humanity.

The Chief Minister said that to ensure that there is no shortage of doctors in the state, the State Government is planning to set up medical colleges in every district. He said that regular recruitment process of doctors has also been simplified. During the pandemic, appointment letters have been issued to 642 doctors, he added.
