Chandigarh, February 21- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 12 development works of an amount of about Rs.13.26 crore from the Panchayat Bhawan campus during his visit to Karnal today.c
These projects include the inauguration of two roads, constructed at a cost of Rs 1.72 crore, and the foundation stone for renovation and beautification works of 10 pilgrimage sites. An estimated amount of Rs 11.54 crore is to be spent on the development works. The Chief Minister inaugurated the work of widening and strengthening of the road from village Padhana to Gangar in Neelokheri Assembly Constituency at a cost of Rs 49.79 lakh and the road from Sandir to Padhana at a cost of about Rs 1.22 crore.
Among the 10 renovations and beautification works laid by the Chief Minister include the construction of Welcome Gate, Mahima Patt and Mahila Ghat, Shed, RCC Benches, Bathing Steps, and construction of Sant Niwas and Renovation of Maharshi Ved Vyas Tirth, in Village Bastali of the Nilokheri Assembly Constituency at a cost of Rs 55.90 lakh.
Development of Bath Steps, Toilet, Malhila Ghat, Approach Rasta, Parking, Mahima Patt, Landscaping, Boundary Wall of Guru Parashar Tirth in Village Behlolpur of the Nilokheri Assembly Constituency at a cost of Rs 89.89 lakh.
Construction of Community Centre, Ghat for Men and Women, Cow Ghat and R/Wall in Baba Kesar Ban Dera in Village Chor-Karsa in Assandh at a cost of about Rs 1.10 crore.
ILPB Pavement in Angan, Construction of Bathing Step and Corner Step pipeline for Disposal of Waste Water, construction of Boundary Wall and Retaining Wall, Mahima Patt and fixing of RCC Bedches in Dakshewar Tirth in Village Dacher of the Nilokheri Assembly Constituency at a cost of about Rs 1.54 crore.
Development of Sarovar, Bathing Steps Ghat and Mahila Ghat, Boundary Wall and Hawan Kund, Pipeline for Disposal of Waste Water, Fixing of RCC Benches, Multipurpose Hall and Mahima Patt in Trigunanand Tirth in Village Guniana of the Nilokheri Assembly Constituency at a cost of about Rs 1 crore.
Construction of Retaining Wall, Boundary Wall, Cow Ghat, Community Centre and Bathing Ghat for Men and Women in Jambu Nath Tirth in Village Jabhala in Assandh at a cost of about Rs 1.22 crore.
Construction of ILPB Rasta, Multipurpose hall, Bathing Ghat and Mahila Ghat in Jai Shree Koti Tirth in Village Kurlan, Assandh Assembly Constituency at a cost of Rs 77.80 lakh.
Construction of Boundary wall and Main Gate, Community Centre, Park Kund ILPB Rasta, Mahima Patt and Disposal Pump in Dada Phalgu Rishi Tirth in Village Phapharana in Assandh at a cost of Rs 83.65 lakh.
Construction of Mahima Patt, Changing room, parking, Connecting passage, etc. in Bimleshwar Tirth in Village Sagga in Nilokheri at a cost of about Rs 1.35 crore.
Construction of Retaining wall and Ghats in Sahsar Tirth, Retaining wall, Ghats and Rasta of Mochan Tirth in Village Uplana in Assandh at a cost of about Rs 1.84 crore. This construction work will be done by the Panchayati Raj Department.
