  • Chandigarh, Feb 13- Haryana Government will organize one day workshop on Apprenticeship at Gurugram on February 28, 2018 to disseminate knowledge on the topic and felicitate establishments significantly appointing apprentices. This will further generate momentum for maximum employment opportunities through skilling of youth in both public and private sector.
  • This was decided in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal to review the progress of all employment initiatives under Saksham Haryana here today.
  • The Chief Minister said that government has fixed a target to tap the employment potential for two lakh youth in the state by way of jobs in government and private sector as well as by self employment. Describing skill development a major component for getting employment, he said that employment opportunities would be created with skilling and professional training of youth through apprenticeship training.
  • The Chief Minister was informed that most of the initiatives under Saksham Haryana were under implementation whereas some were being evolved. Under the provision of Apprenticeship Act, a target has been fixed to appoint 45,000 people through skilling and professional training both in government and private sector. In addition, special event has been planned for private enterprises to generate momentum. This will not only help to produce skill manpower required for industrial growth but will make our youth more capable to get the maximum employment in National Capital Region.
  • It was also informed that from April 2017 onwards, 447 job fairs have been organized in the state in which job offers were given to 23300 persons. It was also informed that collaboration with Cab aggregators can help in creating 20000 plus jobs in coming year. Similarly, collaboration with security guard aggregators is another strong opportunity to generate employment for youth of the state.  Under the MUDRA scheme, Rs 5832 crore have been disbursed among more than 4.72 lakh persons in the state so far for self employment.
  • The Chief Minister also reviewed Saksham scheme, placement platform, employment in Army including ex-servicemen and Saksham Haryana campaign.
  • Those present in the meeting included Advocate General Mr Baldev Raj Mahajan, Chief Secretary, Mr D.S. Dhesi, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance, Mr P. Raghvendra Rao, Principal Secretary, Skill Development and Industrial Training, Mr T.C.Gupta, Principal Secretary, Sainik and Ardh-Sainik Welfare, Mr Vivek Joshi Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Dr Rakesh Gupta, Director General, Higher Education, Mr Vijay Singh Dahiya, Director, Technical Education, Mr Rippudaman Singh Dhillon and other senior officers.
  • Chandigarh, February 13 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal today said that over 325 citizen centric services and schemes of 31 Departments would be launched on SARAL Platform on the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on April 14 this year. With this, Haryana will become the first state in the country to have an online integrated platform with all the Government to Citizen (G2C) services available. 
  • Mr Manohar Lal who was presiding over a meeting to review the functioning of Saral Portal here today said currently 113 different services are being delivered on SARAL platform. He also reviewed the performance of ten departments based on their SARAL score which is dependent on the Right to Services (RTS) compliance in Service Delivery.
  • SARAL ensures delivery of services within RTS timeline and the status of the application could be tracked online as well as on SMS. Using SARAL, the leadership at the state level and district level has a visibility on the service delivery of the services and citizen satisfaction through rating mechanism. All the departments are ranked based on SARAL Score.
  • While describing the 21st century as an era of Information Technology (IT), he said that the aim of the State Government is to fast track the system by removing the bottlenecks in a systematic manner. He said that it has been decided that schemes for the welfare of marginal section would also be made available through SARAL Portal. To ensure that the benefit of these schemes reach last man, e-Disha centres at district Headquarters, subdivision and tehsils would be renamed as “Antyodaya SARAL Kendra” to deliver schemes in addition to services.
  • It was informed that 60 eDisha centres at district and sub division level are being revamped into state of the art facilities. Apart from this, an integrated SARAL helpline is being established for all queries, complaints and requests.
  • The Chief Minister directed the Administrative Secretaries of the Department to get all Government to Citizen (G2C) services of their department on the SARAL platform well before April 14, 2018 and regularly review service delivery through the SARAL Dashboard.  He said that a 130 member team which also comprised of officers of National Informatics Centre (NIC), Government of India, National Informatics Centre (NIC), Haryana and other state departments has been set up to assist the departments in this process.
  • Among those present in the meeting included Chief Secretary, Mr D.S Dhesi, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Dr Rakesh Gupta and Administrative Secretaries of various departments.
  • Chandigarh Feb 13: Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal said that he is visiting Jind today to take stock of the arrangements for the rally to be addressed by BJP National President, Mr Amit Shah on February 15, 2018.
  • Mr Manohar Lal who was interacting with the media persons at the sidelines of a function here today said that rally would be held without any disruption.
  • In reply to a question, the Chief Minister said that in a democratic set up it is inappropriate for a political party to oppose the rally of other political party. He described it as a cheap and disgraceful gimmick for political interests.
