Chandigarh, March 16 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that all the Farmers Clubs formed before April 1, 2017, are dissolved with immediate effect. He said that the farmers clubs which have been formed after holding elections in the last three years will be valid, while the clubs which were non-functional for years will be dissolved.

The Chief Minister gave these directions while hearing the grievances during the meeting of District Public Relations and Grievances Committee organized at Gurugram today. He informed that the farmers clubs were formed for the welfare of the farmers, thus the club has an important role and should have elections and re-constituted in a fixed period. The Chief Minister heard ten grievances in the meeting and took cognizance of the complaints related to various departments and gave directions accordingly.

Hearing the grievances of Kadipur village which was raised in the meeting, the Chief Minister ordered that the dung from the dairies should be lifted twice a day by the Municipal Corporations for which they will be charged according to number of cattle.

While taking up another complaint pertaining to encroachment and illegal construction, he said that to prevent such cases in urban and rural areas, the concerned departments should regularly monitor their jurisdiction. He also ordered the police officers to take action as per the rules, so that the traffic system on the city roads remains smooth.

Hearing another complaint regarding private developers in Sector 92, the Chief Minister directed to constitute Residents Welfare Association (RWA) by the residents of the area. For this, the Deputy Commissioner will take concrete steps as per rules.

While taking up the problem of waterlogging at village Bilaspur Chowk on National Highway, he ordered to permanently resolve the issue by digging the pond of the village and proper drainage.

National Highway:

Taking cognizance of the complaints on various aspects related to National Highways, the Chief Minister said that he will speak to the Union Road Transport & Highways Minister Mr. Nitin Gadkari.

He said that he will speak to the Union Minister regarding the construction of flyovers on Bilaspur Chowk, Dharuhera Chowk, Bawal Chowk on NH-48 and Gwal Pahari on Faridabad road and assured the attendees that the complaints related to National Highways would be resolved soon.

Coronavirus:

Talking to the reporters after the meeting, Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that there is no need to panic due to the corona virus. He said that concrete arrangements have been made by the government and steps are being taken in a planned manner to deal with every situation. He has appealed to multinational companies based in other cities of Haryana, including Gurugram, to allow their employees to work from home. He said that health services are available in the entire state as per the need to protect against corona virus.
